Best Paid Web Directories For SEO.

Post Categories: SEO BlogWeb Designers Blog

Web directories are a very good way of gaining strong one way backlinks to help with your SEO campaign. These directories will push your website up the search results on Google and Yahoo when combined with effective onsite optimisation

There are many thousands of directories available charging anywhere from a few dollars to several hundred however only a handful of these are authoritative directories.

Google doesn’t like paid links but they do accept directories charging for editors to review a website to ensure the website is to a good standard. Google used ‘Trust Rank’ to judge the quality of these directories, those with high trust rank will give the biggest impact, unfortunately google doesn’t make this information available to the public.

Below is a list of my top paid web directories that can help you with your SEO campaign.
These are directories I have personally used to great effect on many websites, the directories are on a sliding scale of value. I suggest submitting your website to the DMOZ directory and 1 or 2 other directories a month.

This is a good list, I also have a few in my list and looked at the domain authority metrics for each directory:

I have found this to be a great source of information, and appreciate what it has done to help my site (http://www.davidwegwartphotography.com) be seen in the searches. I am now getting seen by about 20x the traffic.

    Thanks again.
